LG creating new tablet with updated design, 2016 processor - Android

LG’s no longer the major player that it used to be in the tablet market but that doesn’t mean it’s abandoned the segment completely. In fact, XDA Developers has uncovered new information which suggests the company is actively working on a new tablet.

Called the LG G Pad 5, the device will arrive powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This chipset is over three years old and was previously used inside the LG G6, OnePlus 3T, and original Google Pixel but should still give the Galaxy Tab S5e’s Snapdragon 670 a run for its money.
