Microsoft acquires software company to work on Android for Surface Duo and successor Surface Duo V2 - Android

Microsoft has now of the Finnish company Movial which was apparently helping it with Android development for the . The acquisition is a sign that the company is serious about cracking the smartphone market, something which it has failed to do so far.  reports that Microsoft has also started working on Surface Duo's successor which will be called the Surface Duo V2.
